Who we are
MYTE ("MYTE", "we", "us") is a business name of Team Wallace Investments, LLC. MYTE sells kits that include food-restricted prepaid cards and runs the website that lets anyone add money to those cards. By buying a kit or adding money to a card, you agree to these terms.
MYTE is not a charity
MYTE is a for-profit business. Kit purchases and money added to cards are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
The cards
MYTE cards are prepaid cards issued through our card partner and its bank. They can only be used at food merchants, cannot be used to withdraw cash, and remain the property of MYTE. The person holding a card may use its balance for food purchases.
Adding money to a card
Anyone can add money to a MYTE card through its QR code page. A platform and processing fee is shown at checkout and added on top of your gift, so the full gift amount is loaded onto the card. Gifts are final and non-refundable once completed.
Inactive cards
A MYTE card with no purchases or reloads for 12 consecutive months is considered inactive. MYTE may remove any remaining balance from an inactive card and close it. Removed balances are retained by MYTE and may be used at MYTE's sole discretion, including to fund other MYTE cards or to support the MYTE program. Where applicable law requires unused balances to be handled differently, MYTE will comply with that law.
Kits and pre-orders
Kits are shipped to the address you provide. Pre-ordered kits ship after the date shown at purchase. See our Returns policy for cancellations and returns.
Acceptable use
Do not use MYTE to commit fraud, to dispute legitimate charges in bad faith, or to resell cards. We may decline transactions, suspend cards or close accounts that we believe violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
MYTE is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, MYTE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid MYTE in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use MYTE after a change means you accept the updated terms.
